Request FX quotes

Request FX quotes for a cross-currency payout. Requires additional entitlements. exchange_rate is the before-fee rate; entries include fee_amount and fee_currency (the target currency) when a fee applies, so source_amount * exchange_rate - fee_amount ≈ target_amount. The funding account is resolved from source_currency and source_network; an account without a network holds one balance across every chain it supports, so it matches any source_network, and an account on exactly that network is preferred. source_network (and target_network) must be a chain that can carry the asset — for example ETH, ERC20 or ETHEREUM for USDT — and is echoed in canonical form (ETH, TRX, ...). Stablecoin conversion quotes are customer-scoped and require customer_id: they are priced against that customer's own account. Cross-border FX quotes are client-level: they do not echo or store customer_id.

When customer_id is supplied, only providers the customer is onboarded with (onboarding PENDING or ACTIVE) return a quote, so every quote offered is spendable by that customer; customer-scoped quotes are listed first. Errors when no quote can be produced: customer_id missing → 400 VALIDATION_ERROR; customer not onboarded with any provider for source_currency → 400 CUSTOMER_NOT_ONBOARDED; customer has no source_currency account, or unknown customer_id → 404 NOT_FOUND; source_network cannot carry the asset → 422 CONVERSION_PAIR_UNAVAILABLE. Some quotes are short-lived — check valid_to before use.

Body Params
string
required
string

Network of the source currency. Set it for a network-scoped asset: the funding account is then selected by currency and network rather than by currency alone.

string
required

Target currency

string
required

Positive string-encoded decimal amount the beneficiary receives

string

Customer whose accounts fund and receive the quote. Required for stablecoin conversion quotes, which are priced against the customer's own account; a conversion of such a quote uses the same customer's accounts, and a withdrawal spending it must be funded from that customer's account. Ignored by cross-border FX quotes, which are client-level.
